We support families in finding experienced, professional nannies for full-time, part-time, newborn, and short-term care. Every caregiver we work with is carefully vetted, and just as importantly, we take care to ensure families are prepared to offer a professional, supportive working environment. We believe childcare works best when both sides feel heard, valued, and set up for success.

MEET OUR FOUNDER, Liliana
With years of hands-on experience in the childcare industry, Liliana has devoted her career to supporting families and caring for children across a wide range of roles. She has worked as a professional nanny, travel nanny, house manager, and nanny manager, as well as in children’s television, and has supported children of all ages and abilities, including those who are neurodivergent or require additional support.
Through her work in private homes and professional childcare settings, Liliana saw how overwhelming and unstructured the search for quality childcare could be for both families and caregivers. She also recognized a lack of clear education, standards, and guidance around how nannying works as a profession, leaving many people unsure how to navigate hiring, pay, expectations, and long-term success.
Just as important, Liliana understands how demanding family life and caregiving can be. She believes families and caregivers deserve thoughtful, reliable support as they navigate all aspects of their lives.
Inspired to create something better, she founded Nod to the Nanny, a boutique nanny placement agency providing professional in-home childcare and thoughtful matching for families and caregivers, built on transparency, shared standards, and genuine care.
What continues to drive her is the lasting relationships she has built with families and caregivers over the years. Liliana still provides childcare herself with the goal of staying closely connected to the real-world needs of both sides of the placement process.
Today, her mission remains the same: to make finding the right nanny or caregiver feel clear, supported, and rooted in trust, because childcare is not just about coverage, it's about connection.
